When Marti had contacted me to see if I still wanted the Cardinals magnet, I told her yes and that I'd be in town this weekend and maybe we could get together. So she took control and set it up with our old senior women's team. Some still play---in fact they played in the Mo. senior State Games that weekend---but others were just happy to come out for a visit. It was a nice seeing friends again! I don't have any in Georgia.
Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures. But we had a nice visit at Seiberg's bar. We visited for about 2 hours, then I headed back to the hotel. Ken was there visiting with some family again.
About 5, Becky came by and had "dinner" at the hotel snack bar with us. Had a nice visit. Ken wanted to order a t-shirt for Layla, so we ended up going to Fischer's store and spent another hour or so visiting with Don and Donnie. It was nice seeing them again, too. Plus I was able to return the rocking horse and stroller that she gave me before they knew Donnie was having a baby.
Time to get back to the hotel and pack up for our departure tomorrow.
