Angie found this place on Orbitz for about $250 for a 1 bedroom suite
with sofa bed. That was a pretty good deal for this Jackson Hole.
As you would expect with "lodge" in it's name, it was rather rustic.
Soft decor (carpets, bedding, chair materials) was southwestern and
worn. But we knew we would only be here a night, so booked it.
The kitchen was small but efficient. Although when we spent the night on our return, the dishes in the cabinet were dirty. I suspect someone loaded the dishwasher before they left and housekeeping put them away without noticing they weren't washed.
It was nice that the 1 bedroom suite had 2 bathrooms. I didn't get a picture of the master bath. But this is the 2nd one. Not bad. I did like the shampoos and soaps they used---same as what I get in Kauai at the Wyndham---Spa Therapy sea moss by Gilchrist & Soames.
the pad of paper and pen were a nice touch.
right across the street from the lodge was this strip mall.
the common area of the Lodge was nice although I never saw anyone using it.
towards the check in area.
Nice complimentary coffee, tea, hot cocoa area.
It also had an outdoor pool area and Jacuzzi. They looked nice, but we didn't use them. Angie and Josh were going to use the fire pit, but it was out of order.
We weren't expecting luxury so it suited us fine. So much so, that after spending several hours stuck in traffic in Yellowstone over the next week, we decided to stay here the night before our 1:30pm flight on the 13, too. Unfortunately, our rate jumped up to $350. But when I checked out, the receipt said $250. When I questioned them, she took the receipt back and said I wasn't suppose to see that! WT??!!!
