2018 WorldMark West Yellowstone: 2 bedroom Queen in 2nd bedroom; unit 337:

 9 - 6-13 - 2018 WorldMark West Yellowstone: 2 bedroom Queen in 2nd bedroom; unit 337:

Our digs for 6 nights.  Had it reserved for 7 nights, but gave up the last one to be closer to the airport on the last day.

Being right on the West entrance to Yellowstone, this is a very popular resort.  It gets Gold ratings and deservedly so.  Not a huge resort, and certainly not easy to get reservations for, but a great base if you do.
I was slacking and didn't get pictures of the master bedroom or master bath!  But this is the 2nd bedroom---where I stayed.  I love their mattresses!
We went around trying to adjust these thermostats to cool the place off, but it wasn't working.  Finally called the office and found out they don't have AC, just heaters.  It was rather warm when we first got there, but cooled off nicely at night.
LOVED the power strip built into the night stands!!!!  I hate having to carry a power strip and change all the cords around to plug in all my stuff.  This even had USB ports for charging!
Baby's eye view of the place.  The carpet was a bit rough, but it was clean and looked pretty new.  Layla didn't mind it!
In fact, she enjoyed crawling all over the place.
I had requested a crib for her.    A pack and play was waiting for her there in the room.  Then we realized that a high chair would be nice, too.  They even had them!
My bathroom
hallway, master bedroom straight ahead, 2nd bedroom to the left, 2nd bathroom to the right, washer and drier behind the louvered doors.
Usually I try to get in the condo and take pictures before it has the lived in look, but that didn't happen this time.
Where I spent most mornings from about 9-10 while Layla was getting her morning nap.
HUGE pool area.
1 of the 2 Jacuzzis.  Both were open the next time I went in.
large kiddie pool
even larger family pool.
Don't know if it's because of our Silver VIP status or luck of the draw, but we ended up in a unit on the top floor facing West.  Great for sunsets!  One bad thing about it, though, was the master bedroom exterior wall was above the outside door.  The door would slam shut so the sound traveled up to the master bedroom.  Not a problem for me, but I wasn't in the master bedroom.
One of the sunsets from the balcony
Every night but one had a great sunset while we were there.  Not sure if it had to do with the wild fires in the distance or just lucky, but we tried to have Layla back by 7pm, which meant we got to enjoy a lot of sunsets (and dinners) from the balcony.
Even got to enjoy a couple sunrises.  Even though we faced west, the rising sun cast a pinkish hue on the mountains to the west.
This was my first time to the WorldMark West Yellowstone.  We usually use our WM points for Kihei on Maui.  But I wouldn't hesitate booking here again.  The resort is great.  The employees are great.  The amenities are great.  Our time here was great!
